I’ve been trying to get more creative with activities for Poppy to do at home. We’ve tried out colouring and painting but getting the pencil or brush on the paper is slightly difficult… I pulled out the playdoh for her this week, and the containers ended up being much more fun than the playdoh itself. What sort of fun things have you done with a 1 year old at home?
This Stokke Tripp Trapp is a new addition to our kitchen, and I love it! Such a good looking and practical high chair. Poppy loves it too, she feels so special being right up at the table with us and finds it so funny stomping her feet the whole time on the feet rest.
Have your tried finger painting? It’s slightly easier to get the paint on the paper that way. I’m thinking. It’s been a few years…lol

She is at such a fun age! We always did a bit of finger painting and some motor skills practice with blocks and other stackable toys. That Tripp Trapp is so much pretty than every other high chair. I love it!

When my son was younger, I found some neat ideas on this website

A big bowl of her fav dry food snack, on the floor, WIth measuring cups and other containers to pinch and pick one by one, or dump with measuring cup.
My little one was born Jan 25, 2014, so I think pretty close to your babe. My LO has just started putting her ‘Little People’ into things and moving them or carrying them around in their car. 🙂
Oh finger painting in the tub with a pudding!!??????
