This morning David and I made a stop at Tim Horton’s for Iced Coffee, bagels, and donuts, and then we headed down to Johnston St. for some thrifting! It was a successful morning! I came home with a lovely set of vintage dishes, 2 fur collars, 2 cozy sweaters, a typewriting (david is aching to steal the case from it and turn it into a pedal board), a denim shirt, and some sweet shoes for my bro-in-law! I really love thrifting, and living in a town with a ton of old people makes for some sweet thrift shops!
every once and a while
Every once and a while I come home feeling overwhelmed, and worn out. Those are the times I realize how thankful I am to have a husband who goes out to the store to get a bottle of wine, takes over making dinner, and lets me soak his shoulder. I remind myself to let go….. “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 peter 5:7
Fall Feelin
It’s really felling like fall around here, which makes me feel cozy, reminiscent, and cold! It’s such a beautiful time of year, there are leaves falling everywhere around here!
1. cold toes. Sid destroyed the cushions fpr this couch so now we covered in lamb skins, and I like it even better! 2. Dark mornings make it hard to wake up, especially for this guy. 3. Playing at the park. 4. Leaves! 5. Staying cozy
Crescent
Our house is about 3 minutes from Crescent Beach, so we spend a lot of time there! Now that the summer is over we can bring sid too! He loves it, all smells, chasing birds, but he is still terrified of the water, silly pup!
