Everyday Make Up

I have been asked for an everyday make up tutorial but in the mean time I’ll share with you the staple make up products I use on a regular day. I like to have bronze glowy skin, long lashes, bold brows, a pretty neutral lip, and every once and a while I’ll line my eyes.

On my skin I use Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, since it’s a tinted moisturizer it’s pretty light weight with minimal coverage (but more than the glossier skin tint I reviewed recently). This stuff really makes your skin glow. I use it in “natural radiance” so if you’re ordering online you can gage off of that. If you’re a bit fairer then select a lighter shade, this one goes well with a tan (or at least helps you fake one).

For concealer I use Glossier Stretch Concealer, and If I need some extra brightening under my eyes I use MAC Mid Yellow.

For bronzer I use Clinique Pressed Powder Bronzer in ‘Sunkissed’

I don’t wear blush regularly, but if I do lately I’m liking ColourPop’s ‘Here comes the sun’

and Highlighter I use MAC Vanilla pigment

On my eyes I have lash extensions. I avoided them for a long time because I knew that once I started I wouldn’t be able to stop. Before I gave birth to Skipper I got them done so that I didn’t look completely dead when I spent most of my days in my pajamas. And I was right, I never want to stop. I get them filled every 5-6 weeks and I just love not having to put on any eye makeup, so easy.

For my brows I use a brown eyeshadow & L’oreal Brow Gel (here’s a tutorial I did).

If I do wear liner (which I am in these photos) I wear L’oreal Lineur Intense – it has a brush tip which I prefer to a felt tip.

Lastly, on my lips I’ve been using ColourPop’s Lippie Pencil in Aquarius

One of my favourite products is MAC Paint Pot in Painterly, I use it on my lips under lipstick, on my eyes, or to cover up blemishes

Hope this helps, if have any other questions feel free to ask in the comments below.

Thanks for sharing!!! My best friend is due in October with her Thur and I have twin babies. We have talked about lash extensions for a while and are finally going to do it. Where do you recommend getting it done. We live in Ladner and are willing to drive wherever ! ❤ oh also, do you find you still wear mascara or is it really not necessary ?

Your lashes look so great! I have been wanting to get mine done but have noticed that a lot of places say that you need to get them done every 3 weeks. That just seems like too much upkeep for me. Does the salon you go to offer 6-7 week refills/do yours last that long? Or do you just make them last that long so they don’t become high maintenance?

Yeah, I just make them last that long so that it’s less maintenance & money. The girl that does them for is happy for me to make them last as long as possible.

What type and brand of brushes do you use for your bronzer and the MAC loose highlighter?
