This winter we headed up to the beautiful and snowy Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada to shoot some of my favourite IRIS frames for Winter. Over the past year, I have teamed up with IRIS Visual Group to share my frame & sunglass collection with you, and I’m excited to announce that I will be an IRIS Ambassador for 2017! This year I’ll be sharing the importance of caring for your eyes and how to keep them healthy, along with my favourite frame and style inspiration throughout the changing seasons
For this shoot, most of the styles I’m wearing are oversized, rounded & rectangle. I love the bold look of brown frames, and there is something so special about thick dark frames that feel extra cozy and pair perfectly with a big knit sweater in the Winter. I love almost all of the frames that Michael Kors creates; you can see a couple of them in the flat lay images. Above I am wearing a bold rectangle frame by SPY which is just the right amount of oversized for my face – since it’s so petite, I have to find the right balance.
Poppy had so much fun playing around in the snow during our time in Lake Louise. She liked to call it “Snowy Mountain” (the name of a Peppa book, of course). Here I am wearing frames by Spine, a great in-between frame, not too big & bold, but they still stand out.
Lastly I’m wearing these frames by Seraphin, they are a softer look for everyday. I love the dark on top and light on the bottom, it definitely gives off that classic wayfarer look.
