Morning Walk

It was one of those mornings where just getting outside to take a quick family walk felt like climbing Everest (because I totally know what that feels like). There were about 3 time outs during the getting dressed process alone. But we made it outside and that beautiful fresh air totally turned our morning around… jk. Poppy completely melted down if we didn’t stop to pick dandelions every 3 steps & almost couldn’t find a reason to carry on being a 2 year old when we told her we weren’t walking to the bakery, fun family times.

Sid is almost 5 years old, he is a Rottweiler, American Staffordshire, Lab A.K.A Supermutt that turned out very handsome. He was our first baby and I love him, but it takes a lot more effort to feel that way since having Poppy. A lot of the time I just see the floor covered in hair every freaking morning, beige carpet turned brown and another pile of poop to pick up. But he is such a good & patient boy. He’s so protective when David is on tour and I’m really trying to love him better.

I really appreciate the honesty in your posts and how you talk about the real life happenings behind the pictures. Thank you 🙂 Also is that an Easy Walk Harness? How’s it working for you? My sister got one for her dog but the sneaky dog slips right out of it!

Haha, love the simple straightforwardness in this post. Our post-supper family walk often backfires on us… you’d think something simple like going for a walk would be, well, simple!

Ugh getting annoyed with the dogs must be a mama thing… Ever since having our little girl I can’t stand our husky. Love him, but can’t stand him. You are not alone!

I felt the same about my doggy… But she’s such a great dog with kids. It’s all just normal !!!
