Thank you for visiting! I have currently taken a step back from social media and blogging. But I did want to leave our blog posts about Goldie up here on the site, all other posts have been archived for now. Love Bethany

it’s laundry day + a new years resolution

Tomorrow we leave for hawaii! Yahooooo. So today there are many full loads of laundry to be done, house to be cleaned, and bathing suits to be packed. Some people love laundry, honestly, I hate it. there is a biggg pile that is built before I finally bring myself to do it.

My New Years Resolutions are:

-Drink 4 glasses of water a day

-Post a photo to the blog everyday

-Memorize a bible verse each week

I haven’t taken the time to memorize verses in a long time, it kind of takes me back to the sunday school days. But there is something great about having those words stored in your mind. When I think about how many song lyrics I have memorized I’m embarrased about how that compares to scripture. I’ve decided I will share my verse each week, attempt it with me if you like…

“Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

I LOVE your resolution to memorize a verse each week. I feel like when I know the word of God and hide it in my heart I am ready for more opposition and won't get defeated when I can firmly speak truth to a situation. Thanks for sharing and I am excited to follow you on this journey!

Great idea for a New Years Resolution, I may have to use it as my own as well!

I was just wondering how you choose what verse to study for the week, I've always wanted to memorize verses but just don't know where to start.

    Hilary,
I've done it in the past where I will memorize verses in order, which is great because then eventually you have an entire chapter memorized. But this time I've decided to do them randomly. With the first two, I just started flipping around and decided on verses I felt were relative to what I've been focusing on.
